

Fitness Fact Friday: Super Bowl Strategy

As we cruise into Super Bowl weekend, it’s not a bad idea to give a little bit of “encouragement” to your clients, with respect to nutrition (before, during, and after the game). Give them a “pep” talk about staying on their meal frequency time lines- don’t skip breakfast, mid-morning snack, etc.
Remember, missing meals leads to hunger which generally leads to stupid. Stupid food choices, that is. Fact is, post-prandial glucose levels, and insulin pulsing don’t know it’s a “special” weekend.
